NEW PALTZ, N.Y. On Saturday, Feb. 13, the State University of New York at New Paltz Department of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation hosted "Girls and Women in Sports Day," during which Girl Scouts of all different ages came and were able to play different sports with the help of New Paltz's varsity women's student-athletes. The event was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the National Girls and Women in Sports Day put on by the Women's Sports Foundation.
